Some people write to make something ugly beautiful, some write to leave a part of themselves to be remembered, some write to give words meaning and soul and others write to exist in nonexistence

Decades can pass. You can move countries. Wars can be fought. People can die. But the stars stay the same. They stay constant. They are really the only reliable things in life

“The only person you are destined to become is the person you decide to be.”

In this time of day, you are based on your actions. The person who you want to be when you're older is all depended on the things you do now. For example, we live in Santa Maria. Santa Maria has currently been a very "ghetto" place lately because of all the gang activities and murder. Now imagine  a little boy and girl whose siblings, parents, etc are in the gang business. Technically it is in their blood to join, to become a part of the family business, but that isn't fair. They have to decide for themselves to be a gang member or gain an actual profession in the working world. They weren't destined to become what their family wanted them to be , they are destined to be what they want to be.

There is also the fact that there are rude, improper people in this world. They don't have to be a bad-mannered, potty mouth, dirty person. If they choose to be nice and respectful they will become a better person. It doesn't matter if that is the way you were raised or if that's what all your friends do. If you want your kids or other people to respect you be the person you decide to be, do not be what others want you to be.

MY AMERICAN VOICE?

Speaking up is hard to do for a person that doesn't like to hurt other people's feelings. Yes speaking up for a person being bullied is a different. But actually telling someone what they're doing/ saying is wrong is a different story. For example, I act very respectful around others and don't necessarily speak rudely to others. I do happen to know people that speak to people quite impolite. Although no matter what they do I can't find it in me to speak out about it.

Other things such as cheating on a test, I do sort of speak up on it. I usually don't speak up on it at that exact moment seeing as I am a bit shy person. When all the students leave after class I speak to the teacher. Now cheating on a relationship and speaking about it is a different story. You see the person you tell all this information to will not always believe you and will tell you that you're being "fake". It usually results in the lost of a friendship and the cheater getting away with it. On the contrary, the friend will believe you sometimes and will appreciate you saving them from the vile human.

When I honestly speak up, my words are kind in a timid voice. It basically looks very innocent, yet it is innocent and caring. I try not to hurt people because I knew if I was acting in a wrong way I wouldn't like to be feeling punished, I'd rather want to have a "talk".

TEAM VOCAB

This presidential election has transformed into a battle, with venomous attacks from both aggravating parties. Hillary has remained stolid, in my opinion, and i really wanna punch Trump in the proboscis. His supporters have slowly dissolved and the ones who have remained are hypnotized into believing America will be great again. This is a melancholy moment in American History, because soon, one of these candidates will be president. I earnestly believe that neither candidate should be eligible for office.
